Down the Hatch

Down the Hatch is one of the best vegan restaurants in Liverpool to visit if you’re craving some junk food. Here, you’ll find junk food favourites such as burgers, hot dogs and loaded fries – all made with vegan ingredients. Our personal recommendation is the BBQ pulled jackfruit topped seitan burger. Pulled pork? We don’t know her..

Wootan Scran

Not technically a Vegan restaurant in Liverpool but definitely worth the mention, Wootan Scran is an all vegan chippy which launched in 2019. Owned by the same team behind Down the Hatch, Wootan Scran offers completely vegan alternatives to all the usual chip shop favourites such as salt and pepper ‘chicken’, pie dinners, spring rolls, and more. Wootan Scran is based in the beautiful Lark Lane within walking distance to Sefton Park, making it the perfect place to stock up on vegan food for your upcoming summer picnic!

Home of the disco cauliflower, Maray is one of our all-time favourite restaurants. While Maray’s menu isn’t entirely vegan, they do offer a wide variety of vegan options. You can also ask for the vegan version of their classic cauliflower dish. Check out our review of Maray Bold Street.
